Group A will be composed of Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya while Group B will be composed of India, South Africa, England, Bangladesh, West Indies, Netherlands and Ireland.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will take place between February and early April 2011, with the first match to be played on 19 February 2011 with co-hosts India and Bangladesh facing off at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

The opening ceremony was held last 17 February 2011 at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka, two days before the start of the tournament. The final cricket game will be on 2 April 2011 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The ICC World Cup 2011 Cricket games will be broadcasted live by ABC.

India have had the knack of taking wickets at key times, and if you win the key periods, you tend to win cricket games. The fielding has been superb, the tactics shrewd. The test for this Indian side now is to make it stick, to dominate not only all forms of the game, but in every country too.
