Schwartzel was the first champion in Masters history to close with 4 consecutive birdies. “There’s so many roars that go on around Augusta. It echoes through those trees. There’s always a roar. Every single hole you walk down, someone has done something,” Schwartzel said.
Schwartzel received his green jacket from Phil Mickelson of the United States after winning the Masters Golf Tournament 2011. The golfer finished in second place received $864,000, and the 44th placer earned $28,000.
